Dear Gonzales family , my wife and I attended Larry's amazing service yesterday and it was a beautiful tribute to a very special person who was so loved. I went to school with Larry for 12 years but unfortunately only saw him a few times at church and a reunions since. We moved out of the area about 11 years ago and lost touch with many people. I want to thank Janine for a wonderful heartfelt talk that gave me insight into a great man who loved God and his family. God has Blessed this...

Love you very much...

Irene, I was a 14 year old freshman and Larry a 15 year old Sophomore at Lasuen playing on the JV baseball team together. During the ride home after a game on an old yellow school bus, Larry, while standing up looking out a window said, "Jay, come here." He had me look down into a car to see an attractive young lady driving. His next statement stayed a greeting between us for the next 52 years whenever we saw each other. He said, "Jay, check out the sec-a-tary!(emphasis on the Sec portion)....

Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow and deepest sympathy on your loss. Larry was one of the most treasured members of our Chili Peppers Golf Club as he had the Wit, Charisma and grace that very few men in our world possess. He would brighten up every 19th hole he entered with a quick gentlemen's greeting and few stories of his USC days and then get into why he just missed that 300 yard longest drive marker. Irene, always remember a great soul serves everyone all the time. A great...
