Larry P. Huston

Larry was a wonderful ambassador for Ohio State and the profession of pharmacy. His son Jeff follows in his footsteps. Dr. Jack Beal of the OSU College of Pharmacy (and like Larry a fellow Jayhawk), introduced me to Larry as a proud Buckeye and Jayhawk. Jack always laughed that he and Larry reversed each other's academic pathways. Larry was one of the good guys and will be missed. May he Rest in Peace.

Dear Laurie and Family......Some people are missed more than words can say.....And more than hearts should have to feel.....The extended Meyers family has become special to us through our friendship with Jan and Ron...and we want you to know we lift you and yours in prayer for comfort and peace as we remember Larry's smile and his gift of good will to those around him. We feel certain you will all love each other through this experience until you are reunited with Larry in God's perfect...

Dear Laurie,
I was greatly saddened to learn of Larry's death. Not only was he an excellent athlete while at college but clearly an outstanding student in the College of Pharmacy. He was widely admired. There is little one can say to soften the great loss that you and your family are experiencing. Kindest regards.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Huston family. I had the pleasure of working with Larry at Mediserv Pharmacy, he always kept me laughing and I always enjoyed working with him. I will never forget Larry and he will be truly missed.

I was so saddened to hear of Larry's death. You two made such an indelible impression on me during the times you spent with our family during your OSU days. I've seldom been around a couple who were so uniquely and outstandingly individuals, yet so fully a "couple". I imagine that reality will both assure a full rich life ahead for you, but also a particularly deep sense of loss. I'm so sorry for your loss. Larry had a big influence on my life when I worked with him on N. High. He taught me some life lesson. I admired him greatly.

Denise and I will always remember working with Larry and the friendship and laughter that he shared. He was a pharmacy mentor to me and he inspired and encouraged my wife to follow her goals of becoming a registered nurse. We both graduated from The Ohio State University while we were still working with Larry at Mediserv Pharmacy and we always tried to stay in touch over the years as we followed our own career paths. Our lives would not be as full today without...

Steve and I are so saddened to hear of your Larry's passing on Monday. Even though Larry is in his heavenly home, he will be missed here. It seems God's timing isn't ours. We can't imagine looking forward to your 50th celebration, and this happens.

We will always remember you and Larry when you opened the doors at Karl Road Baptist Church and greeted us when we entered, both having the most wonderful sincere smiles.
