Dear Key Family,
I met Larry 40 years ago at Fort Detrick. He was always sweet, loving and so happy to help anyone in need. It was a pleasure to see him at work and other places around the county. In 2004 he challenged me to run the first Salt Lake City Marathon with him, his sister and niece. Larry was probably the only person who believed I could do it. I knew Larry when I worked at NCI as a young adult. He left a mark on me, because he was so friendly and kind. He will be missed. A genuinely wonderful human being. Rest in peace my friend.

I knew Larry through work. What struck me about him was how well loved he was at NCI. Everyone knew Larry and he took the time every day to say hi, share a story or just flash you that kind smile of his as he passed in the hall. I'm not really sure how he got his work done because we all needed our time with Larry each and every day as he made his deliveries to the labs. When he retired we were sad for our loss yet happy for him. We knew this would afford him time to spend doing what he loved...
