I was saddened to hear about Larry passing this year as he brought so many fond memories to so many growing up in Orlando. Larry's "Ronnie's" was a Orlando landmark that brought people together. It was a place where you put your differences aside for breakfast, lunch or dinner and enjoyed some wonderful comfort foods. Orlando is not the same with out Ronnies and Larry Leckart. We shared many lunches together after you retired and I miss our Monthly get togethers.

I grew up in Orlando and recall being taken to Ronnies as a kid, going there as an adult and taking my nephews there when they would visit.
Later in life, my sister, my wife and Michael Welbourne would dine there every Saturday evening. Larry always gave us one of the Reserved booths which was and is quite an honor.
We were saddened when Ronnie's closed and even more saddened when Larry passed away. He was an icon, an astute businessman and a wonderful gentleman.
