Not sure what to say?

Larry and I were in the Marine Corps together and worked in the same supply unit. Larry worked on one of these mysterious keypunch machines and card with holes in them. Very early days of "data processing" (1963ish).We were both guys who knew we had to finish our enlistment, get out and go to college--fast. We had a lot of laughs together.

As another testimonial noted, Larry was certainly more than the "L" of KSL. To say the least, he was a great mentor and leader for those of us on the Development team at KSL (La Quinta). Larry's legacy was second to none when it came to friends and certainly he was the "boss" but more important a genuine friend. In many ways, he was not replaceable. However, when he left us, and a problem or challenge would arise for development we would simply ask, "what would Larry do"; problem solved....

I will always cherish our time together ... from those days in the 1970s in Colorado, to La Quinta nearly thirty years later. My friend, it is, and always will remain an honor for me to have been associated with you and call you a friend. Peace and shalom.

I met and played golf a few times during 2010. I have never met someone that could make you feel so good about having a relationship with him. I was so looking forward to more golf with him in Sandpoint. I feel so honored to have enjoyed a wonder lunch with him at the Beer Hunter in November. He brought his total wonderful self to that lunch with no hint of his near future.

I am so blessed to have worked with Larry at KSL for 8 years. Larry was one of the kindest, intelligent and driven executives I have ever experienced. I feel honored to have known him.

May you rest in peace Larry. My life is more enriched because I knew you.

Much Love,

Kimberly Lynch Campbell

Martha and Family...Larry's welcoming smile, his sparkling eyes and his loving hug will be remembered and cherished. Larry was such a wonderful person and gift in our lives.

Larry was an incredibly kind and generous individual with a huge heart of gold and an abundance of love for everyone he knew. It is with heartfelt sadness that we bid this great man farewell. His memory will live within our hearts forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Larry's family, and most especially to you Martha.

Wade, Shannon, Martha, Glenda, etal...one of the most memorable days of my life was spending cousin Larry's birthday with him last year fishing on the Coquille River here in Oregon.

Wade, like I said in my letter, Larry represented the best of the Lichliter in all of us. He was an iconic figure, not just in the world of skiing and resorts, but also within his own family. He affected many people in many ways, and most of them positive. In the landscape that is the history of...

What a great guy and I'm so glad I knew him. With Love, Jannie Marie
