In February of '22 I created an archive for myjewishbooks and I'm happy you created this website for others to stumble across great books. Had I not decided to look at the .html for your page I would have never known of you. Thank you so very much Larry.

1992: Larry Mark at Columbia Business School

Larry, Your ever-present smile brightened the hallways of Uris Hall of Columbia. You left your mark on all of us as a diligent, dedicated and responsible person: as the managing editor of our school newspaper (...you know, pre-internet days), you ensured the "Bottom Line" was written, published and distributed weekly for all of B-School to read. The paper was NEVER late! Dependability was your mantra. It was amazing that you were also the driving force in generating close of $50,000...

I have met him in 2007 and I have been friends with him since then. He's helped me and supported me in achieving what I have now in my career as an educator. He's instrumental in making me finished my PhD and I am forever grateful for all the advises he generously gave me. My sincerest condolences to Larry's family.

I worked with Larry for a number of years and recently learned of his passing. My deepest sympathies and condolences to his family. May the angels lead Larry into paradise.

To Mike and Donna and Lisa and Helaine, Mom and I were so very sorry to hear about Larry's passing. Mom and I have so many happy memories of Larry (as well as of Mike and Lisa, and of course, Fay and Irving). It seems like yesterday! May Larry's memory be a blessing to you and all who have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. All our Love,

Though I did not know your loved one, I send my deepest and heartfelt condolences. This gentle man sounds like an amazing person and the world will feel his loss. I wish I had had the opportunity to cross his path. We could all benefit from trying to emulate your Larry. Thank you for sharing such a loving tribute. It helps to remind us that we all are capable of being just a little more kind and caring. Actions that cost nothing but need much more practice. Sincere sympathy for your loss.

For Michael and Lisa: I was very sad to learn about Larry´s passing. Although I was a classmate of Michael´s a long time ago in kindergarten, and left Scranton many years later, somehow Larry and I reconnected. He was a wonderful person, keeping me up to date about family events and joining joyously in our simchot. He had fascinating stories that he readily shared and a love of life that was apparent to all those with whom he came in contact. He will be sorely missed. May you be...
