I just came across Larry,s obituary after many years of wondering what happened to him. I first met Larry at the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, Calif., where I received orders for Beach Jumper Unit 1. He met me at the gate to the base to escort me to my new quarters. I got to know Larry pretty well and even accompanied him to some track meets in San Diego. So very sad to hear about Mickey's passing my brothers ( Cobern ) always had a great time looking for trouble and never got a whipping because we were always innocent!!! From The Cobern boys JG,Marvin,Mike and Kenny. Our thoughts and prayers go our to the Nutt family.
