Jim & Tim: This is Janice (Jan)(Stamfel) Fraas. My first job at G. Bartling & Co.KCK in 1961 is where I met your Mom and we became great pals and travel partners. She was a good friend, who was extremely knowledgeable and smart. She introduced me to Jim and Wentworth Academy Military Ball - a chance of a lifetime. Also enjoyed lake time together with she & Charlie. We kept in touch over the years, including Christmas cards. The last 2 times I sent cards, there were no responses. I was not able to be at the funeral. My heart goes out to you two and your families with deep felt sympathies. Jan

Mam Maw Laura it's hard to believe that the lord reached his hand out to you and took you home. I knew in my heart that he would come one day, but We certainly didn't expect this so soon. I thought we would at least have the last two holidays with you. I will miss your gorgeous smile and your eyes that lit up so brightly when we got together for a visit. Your laughter and wittiness. I will truly miss those family dinner's and your devouring plates full of food (and All of us whispering where in the world is she putting all that food? Only for you to quickly reply, "I'm hungry and it's very good" and we all thought she couldn't hear us). I will never forget when we took Dad to the doctor, you would constantly ask him if he was leaving you, and he would reassure you that he would return. You were such a delightful, amazing and loving Mam Maw to our family. You will not be forgotten, I have my memories tucked into my heart. Some I will share with others and some I will hold like a treasure for only me to hold dear. I promise to take care of Daddy as he took care of you. Please watch over him and guide him should he need the extra nudge to more forward. We all loved you and Daddy especially Loved you very dearly. He will be lost for a while with out you, I ask that you watch over him and guide him and help him to move forward. Daddy was more than just a close friend, he was your knight, you were his butter to his bread, he loved you in sickness and in health, until your death you did depart. All our Love, Spread those well earned golden wings and fly high my love.
