Laura Huntington Obituary

Laura Orita Huntington passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the age of 40. She was born on Thursday, November 15, 1984, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Laura was an avid reader with a sharp intellect who found comfort and inspiration in books. This shone through her writing; she even had one of her poems published in a book. Laura was loved very much and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her parents, Max and Lana Huntington, her son, Asher Yaeger, and her brother, Lucas Huntington (Jamie), and their children, Leo and Zaden Gideon. Laura is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home- Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Blvd., on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 11:00 am until the celebration of life service begins at 1:00 pm.
