Not sure what to say?

Laura, I think of you so often and all the laughs we shared... Happy heavenly Mother´s Day sweet angel!

I have been thinking about Laura lately as I was talking with the AMC crowd over the holidays ...I could not remember the song I so loved when I heard it at the memorial service so many years ago. Last night, I went to bed racking my brain...and fell asleep. In the early morning hours, I awakened and felt a presence and sat up and thought "There You'll Be" by Faith Hill, a beautiful lyric for my most kind, compassionate and loving friend and colleague...XO I miss you so much especially when I...

It's been so long and yet it seems so fresh. What a wonderful person and superior veterinarian.

One of the sweetest woman I have met. She introduced me to Classical Music which I now have a great love for. She was a wonderful daughter to Lois. May she be at peace.

I think this may be the Laura Smiley I knew way back in 1972 - 75 when I was at Montana State University. She was always so kind, sensitive, intuitive and very intelligent. God speed Laura

i knew Laura in High School. She was always the kindest and gentlest person imaginable. From what I read in her obituary, she fulfilled every dream she spoke about in those days and times. Reading that she had passed away, at so young an age, is heartbreaking.

I can't stop thinking about Dr. Smiley. She was so kind and gentle to my cat, calling him my love and baby boy. The world has lost a wonderful person. Deepest sympathy to her family.

oh, i am so sorry to hear that Laura has died! we lived as neighbors for years when we were both younguns, in fact i was the honored "babysitter" for andrea and laura many times, and just loved visiting with Lois as well. i remember so well the house, the girls's bedrooms, and the magical rock garden with water flowing through it. how can Laura who is younger than i be dead before me? i feel deeply for Lois, knowing how agonizing it was for my mom, June, to live through Micki's death, but for...

We are saddened and would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Smiley. Our very sick cat,Tux, was transferred to Gwynedd and remained in the hospital under Dr. Smiley's loving care for 12 days in 2005. Thanks to her follow-up care, he is a healthy 12 year old. We have missed seeing Dr. Smiley and we hope fond memories will comfort and bless her family.
