I was fortunate to work with, get to know, and love the gentle soul taken too soon from this earth. I shall always remember her sweet smile, and her willingness to give so freely of herself as she cared so diligently for her patients. The type of person Lauren is doesn't happen by accident. She was loved and cherished, and that is how she treated others. May you find peace in the memories of God's beautiful child.

Lauren taught me lessons about life, friendship and sisterhood that no one else could have. I always admired her for her selflessness, and desire to see others reach their potential. She was my "partner in crime" freshman year at Queens and the memories we made will make me laugh out loud for the rest of my days. She not only knew how to be the life of the party, but she knew how to bring people together. Most importantly, she taught me that keeping in touch with friends is a conscious decision and it's something worth doing. Once I transferred to UNCW, she was always the one reaching out to me when I thought my life was too busy for old friends. I thank God every day for bringing us to the same city in the last year of her life and giving me even more wonderful memories with my best friend and sister. I never realized just how precious friends are until I had to lose her. Lauren always wanted what was best for her friends and family, so I am going to live my life in a way that she would be so proud of. I am going to cherish my friends and family and treat them like gold. Most importantly, I thank God for sending me a sweet sister like Lauren and I can't wait until I get to see her again. I love you so much sweet Angel. You will never be forgotten and will have a piece of my heart forever. My thoughts are with Lauren's family, Travis and his family, and all my ADPi sisters. Let's not let too much time go by before telling each other what they mean to us. OBIC

I just heard about Lauren's passing today from a former co-worker while at church. I was in total shock to hear about the passing of this beautiful and super friendly young lady. I Worked with her on the CTU, and we had many conversations about her home town and how she loved growing up in that area. Her face would just light up when she spoke about her home. It was because of her that I decided to plan a trip to the mountains. I am extremely saddened to hear about her passing. May God comfort her family and may her soul rest in peace.

There will never be a memory when I think of Lauren that will not bring a smile to my face and a laugh between my lips. Running through your mothers yard vying for the Easter egg hunt champ mega-egg trophy. Bow and arrow practice and hot mead at the renaissance festival. The memories we made around your dining room table this past Thanksgiving, a weekend at Treehouse cabin complete with birthday celebrations, snow tubing and Duck Dynasty scavenger hunts. Spending this past Christmas together opening presents and stuffing our faces with Pillsbury croissants. It has been the privilege of my life to call you my sister. I know you will be watching over us, and I pray you will guide me to help my patients the way you always inspired yours. I am praying for us all and am faithful that God will carry us through this.
I love you infinitely.

Lauren, we may not have gotten to really know each other in school, but we still grew up together. Losing you was like losing a family member. You were one of my classmates and we are all a family. I pray that your family and loved ones find peace in this mourning. I pray for them as you guide them through life as their guardian angel. I am glad I was able to know you and have a few laughs with you. I know you make a beautiful angel. R.I.P. pretty girl <3

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this very difficult time. Lauren was such a wonderful friend to our Taylor. Mike and I were impressed with her maturity even in high school and thought the world of her. She was wise beyond her years and lovely inside and out. She touched more lives in her short time on this earth than many do in much longer lifetimes as evidenced by all the people who wanted to show their love and respect for her at her service.

Lauren,
In the week we had you on the Child and Adolescent Unit, we found it so easy to love you...partly because you seemed to so genuinely love everyone of us without judgment.
I never heard you say an unkind word. You appeared to be someone who had taken a vow to practice and extend great joy to all.
The sudden loss of you has touched so many. People all over our hospital seem to be treating each other with a profound gentleness. You opened hearts where ever you went.
Your bright, short life helps us to cherish each precious second. To quote a very old text, you were "a star at dawn, a bubble in a stream, a flash of lightning in a summer cloud."
We will never forget you.

Lauren was more than just a friend. She was a light to everyone who knew her. Her smile was radiant. There was something about her laugh that was infectious. When she walked in the room people would be drawn to her. We shared many memories from class, to the mountains, to senior week. I will always cherish our times together. I will miss how we discussed my make up choice, what Roxy did last night, your future plans with Travis for the weekend or talking me into going to nursing school. You were more than a co worker, you were an angel. You will truely be missed but never forgotten. Spread your wings and fly sweet angel. Continue to watch over me and others and inspire us daily. Love you Lauren.

Lauren, I will always remember you as a fearless, outspoken, gorgeous girl who was fiercely loyal to her friends. Every time I saw you, you joked with me about paying dues to ADPi. I will always smile when I think about the spring break I got to spend with you and other random moments or nights I got to laugh with you. You truly touched so many lives at Queens and you will never be forgotten. Like so many other people in this book, I still can't believe you're gone, but rest assured you will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know you. Watch over us and know you are missed.

Lauren was a sorority sister and suite mate of my daughter, Amelia. I remember the day I met Lauren. We were moving Amelia in at Queens and it was raining. I fell in the rain on the sidewalk just outside their dorm. Lauren was so sweet. She took my clothes to the dryer and dried them for me. She had such a bright smile and was so beautiful. She very quickly made a lasting impression on me. I am a nurse and knew she was studing nursing at the time and I could easily see her as a nurse. I followed her job search through Amelia. She knew what she wanted to do and I was so happy for her that she was able to find a position that allowed her to do it. I myself had my psych training in Butner although it was many years ago. I pictured her there from what I remember. For those of us that have completed nursing school we know how difficult it is. She worked very hard to get where she was. You do not complete nursing without truly wanting it and being dedicated. I am sure her family is very proud of her accomplishments as they should be. Losing her makes no sense at all. She would have had years to improve the lives of others. I am so sorry and truly heartbroken for your loss. Bad things happen sometimes to good people and there is no reason or sense for it. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God will give you the strength you need at this most difficult time. There are no words to express the sadness you must feel. I assure you there is life after what we know here on earth. This I know is true. Be kind to yourselves and allow yourselves to just be whatever you need to be to get through this. I am truly, truly, so sorry for your loss and wish I could make it better. With kindest regards.

Thinking of you all Michelle, Emily, Billy, Travis. Lauren was such a good friend to me since I met her freshman year, and she always made sure to take care of me and her other "babies". She took me under her wing and became one of my closest friends. I hope you take comfort in knowing she was an amazing friend, roommate, sister and more to me and to all of us. She put all of her heart into everything she did, and was someone I always looked up to and still will strive to be more like. She always included everyone and wanted to make sure we had so much fun doing whatever it is we were doing, even if it was just sitting around the dorm. I will always cherish my memories with her.

Lauren and I attended Queens University of Charlotte together. As she was a few years younger than I and we did not know each other as well as I would have liked, I cannot claim bragging rights to being one of her closest friends. Nonetheless, I had tremendous respect and admiration for her. Afterall, who wouldn't? She was beautiful, smart, athletic, outgoing, and obviously popular with many. Lauren, in many ways, encompassed what everyone aspires to be. Three things most evident to me in my personal interactions with her are that she was a loyal friend, very generous, and had a fiery tenacity to stand up for her values and what she believes in. The latter of which stood out to me the most as the quality I looked up to. Lauren had a passionate kind of "sass" to her that lends itself to the kind of bold and courageous person she was.....the kind I sincerely wish I was. This is what I will remember Lauren for most because it's the quality of hers I most admired. She had a "fight" in her most never achieve in their lifetime.
Lauren, I have been thinking about you, Travis, and your whole family all week. My heart aches for you and for them. I wish that we had known each other more and that I could've learned more from you. I feel fortunate to have experienced some of the most fun years of life with you in college. Thank you for everything. Someone who has made unique impressions as you on others, are not soon forgotten, even as years pass.
To the Feudale family, her sister, her mother, Travis, her co-workers, close friends, and ADPI sisters: Thank you for helping to make Lauren the beautiful person she was. I often feel that people are a product of the peers that surround them. In that sentiment, you all played an important role in who Lauren was. May you find peace and comfort in her memory. She will live within us always.

Lauren and I attended Queens together freshman year. She had a huge impact on my life and I could always count on her for encouragement and a good laugh. We spent countless nights talking in the quad or going out to meet new people. Anyone that came into contact with Lauren was blown away not only by her beautiful looks but her amazing personality. Anytime I needed a friend for anything she was there. I wish I would have stayed in contact with her in the last few years. But I will always be thankful for the time we became close and the memories we shared. She was a remarkable person and a irreplaceable friend. Lauren was such a sweet and considerate person and she will be truly missed. I hope her family can find at least a little peace in knowing that so many people really loved and cared about her. My prayers are with them and may God bless them during this difficult time.
