I am devastated to learn of Dr Gerson's passing. She worked with me on research related to a medicine for Barrett's esophagus. Words are not sufficient. I am so sorry for her loss. My prayers go out to her family. What a tremendous person.

I am so sorry. I was acquainted with Dr. Gerson only briefly. I had sleep problems and was investigating the intersection of GI and sleep issues, and found her completely because of her distance and availability. I didn't know this was an area of research for her and she was more than a little surprised I just showed up the way I did. She was always kind and professional and quickly ruled out any GI issues. Doctor Laura gersony was a bright light in this world; she had such energy, enthusiasm, determination and love for what she did and people. She treated me like an individual instead of a disease or diagnosis and was not willing to give up until we had and answer. I'm heartbroken by this news and send her family the deepest condolences.
