LAUREN MEREN

All I wanted was a soft coated wheaten terrier for as long as I can remember. I was 25 at the time and battling cancer. After my last chemo I went to Westport with my best friends and Ofcourse fell in love with one of the SCWT. Her name is Lilly and she will be 9 in May.. I am so sad. Lauren gave me my sweet Monty (back in 2007) and he lived to 17 1/2 years. She introduced me to the breed Havanese, now I have my 4th one. I lost Monty 2/2024, I remember Max said my mom has a puppy you will love, and I did, I think of my sweet Monty daily. My new guy "Shorty" is a joy , I was looking to bring him to Westport for her to meet him and I see the shop is closed and Lauren has passed away. I am just learning of her passing, so young . My heart goes out to Ilyssa...

Lauren was a wonderful, kind, and caring person. The last time we spoke she greeted us with love and happiness. We promised her we would visit again with our new family member. We had no idea that day would be the last we would see her. Lauren we are keeping a promise, honey is now 1 year old. Thank you for everything.

What terribly sad news... I´m only learning of it now. Lauren was a wonderful woman... So kind and loving. Our golden doodle Atlas is now 11 years old and has been the light of my life. I´ve taken him back to visit Lauren often... I am so sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to Lauren and Monty`s children....

I´ve known Lauren since 1997 when I got engaged and bought our first puppy from her, We became great friends over the years. I was looking today to come get another one and saw this, I´m keeping the family and friends in my prayers going forward.

The Umane family is heartbroken to learn of Lauren's passing. Although we haven't been in touch for many years, she will always be remembered as someone special in our lives-extraordinarily generous, kind, and funny.

Lauren loved life! She was so kind! We spent time in Jamaica at Jamaica Jamaica and the Odd Lot. I am in total shock!
