Laverne had such a gregarious personality. In a room full of people she always stood out because of her outgoing , humorous, and friendly nature. She was firm with her students but they could still come to her for hugs and comfort and they knew that. This is a huge loss. I pray that she is at peace and no longer in pain. I have so many memories of her and she will be dearly missed.
