We were saddened to hear of Ms. Gregory’s passing. She taught both of my oldest children at Adams Elementary. She was particularly fond of my son, TJ, and called him professor. She not only cared for her students but had a great impact in their lives. Thank You Ms Gregory for your many gifts!!!

Laverne had such a gregarious personality. In a room full of people she always stood out because of her outgoing , humorous, and friendly nature. She was firm with her students but they could still come to her for hugs and comfort and they knew that. This is a huge loss. I pray that she is at peace and no longer in pain. I have so many memories of her and she will be dearly missed.

Laverne was a great person with a big heart. Her smile and laugh were infectious. The Adams Elementary School Family honor her memory and I personally, have been blessed to work with this incredible lady. Love you Fern!
