Just came from Mr. Doherty's "Celebration of Life" Mass and what a celebration and inspiration it was! The pigeons are soaring!! All our love & sympathy to Mickey and the whole Doherty family (even if your last name is not Doherty)!

I'm truly sorry I never had the chance to meet Mr. Doherty but from what his daughter Kathy has told me he was a great father and family man. I know he is in heaven watching over all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Thank you for letting me and my sisters be your "adopted" 19-21st grandchildren. Watch over us all Stud. I love and miss you!

I never had the pleasure of meeting this esteemed gentleman but knowing Maddy and Tom Lennon and Mo and George Blees I have heard some great stories about his homing pigeons.

I think I only met Mr. Doherty once, but I heard many happy stories about him. His spirit is now soaring. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I only met him a few times, but from all the wonderful stories his son Larry has told me, it's clear that he was very loved and will be greatly missed. I wish I'd had a chance to get to know him better. My condolences to the Doherty family.
