Dear Lynn, I continue my walks in Lincoln Park and see Doug's plaque every time I go past. I want you to know that I brush off leaves and keep the plaque from being overgrown with ivy. Dear Lynn, Seeing your dad's obituary in the paper brought back so many memories. I am Helen Heitz who was a Rean Meadow neighbor of your dad and your dear mom Mary. We neighbors had many good times with Julane and Dick. We had picnics in our back yards (our Rean Meadows back yards were extra beautiful.) We went out to dinner a few times.
