An amazing man.... Sometimes on a particularly bad day (or on a good day:).... I would drop by to visit Mr. Godfrey and Clara. They lifted me up and we would sit in the sunporch and talk and laugh....and I always felt like a better person just being in their company. I will miss Mr. Godfrey as I do Clara... and tonight there is a star that shines a lot brighter. I will miss you, your funny stories, your antics and your good and kind heart. XO

Mr Godfrey was good man who loved the lord and he loved singing and praying in the church, it meant the world to him to share Gods word to all that would listen .He will be greatly missed!
