LAWRENCE HARPER Obituary
Lawrence Eric Harper, Jr., age 44, a resident of Mohave Valley, Ariz. passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015. He was born on March 30, 1971 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Lawrence attended high school in Tolleson, Ariz. and was an artist.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, G.W. and Doris Shipman of Sulphur, Okla. and Ralph M. Harper and Marie Mills of Needles, Calif.
Lawrence Jr. is survived by his father and mother, Lawrence E. Sr. and Truelin K. Harper of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; daughters, Katelynn of Mohave Valley, Ariz., Lauren of Vero Beach, Florida; sister, Daedonda K. (Carlos, Sr.) Saavedra of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; aunts and uncles, Betty and John DeoCampo, Uretta and Pellon Sanchez, Darrell and Jessica Mills of Needles, Calif. and Mohave Valley, Ariz., Gerald and Darrell Shipman, Shirley Matt, all of Phoenix, Ariz., Sonya and Bobby Guenther of Woodlands, Texas, Leonard M. Harper of Wewoka, Okla.; first cousins, Greg and Tyrone Shipman of Phoenix, Ariz., Brian Guenther of San Marcos, Texas, Daniel Guenther of Lake Wood, Colo., Jenna Guenther of Woodland, Texas, Michelle Martinez of El Paso, Texas; nieces and nephews, Carlos Saavedra, Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz., Olivia, Alexa, Xiara and Lawrence Austin of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; and many relatives and friends in the Fort Mojave Indian Community.
Church services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Fort Mojave Mourning Hall, 700 Harrison Street, Needles Calif. Indian Village with traditional services to follow at 6:00 p.m.
Cremation will commence at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2015. All times are Arizona times.
