Lawrence became like a brother to me especially in the past few years. I was privileged to be involved with helping him in his life with his sisters Cindy Lawrence and Debbie Barrios. He struggled with severe health issues but he took the trials in stride and kept moving forward with an uncomplaining attitude. At the end he worked hard at trying to think through and performing his daily activities but he never became dispondent and he never gave up hope. His fortitude was inspiring. I will dearly miss him.
