Not sure what to say?

I remember one Saturday morning Arnold and I were working on a main frame computer in Lynchburg. We were talking about what to do next. Arnold had his left hand resting on a gate in the computer. Suddenly he jerked his hand away. The birdie finger had a burn blister on it. We fixed the computer because of that blister. After that I teased Arnold he didn't meters of oscilloscopes to fix computers just point his birdie finger at it.

Thinking of you all during this difficult time. May the love and memories you share together bring you comfort and peace.

Arnie was a fixture AT VPI, and taught me much. He is now sharing his knowledge with the Lord above! Rest now friend.

Arnold was a good friend and coworker

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We always enjoyed our talks at our grandsons baseball and basketball games. Great southern gentleman. Frank & Brenda Hite

I am saddened to read of Arnie's passing. Such a sweet, kind man. His love of computers was evident at the computing center so this love being referred to as a 'hobby' was very appropriate. The sharing of his knowledge and experiences was just Arnie, being Arnie. Condolences to Audrey, sons and extended family and friends. He led by example.

Audrey, Alan and Andy, so sorry for your loss! Arnie was a good man, I enjoyed working with him and his friendship! He will be missed! John and Pat Worrell

With loving memories of a special person. May your special memories, family and friends surround you with loving support. Ben and Marge Kesler
