Not sure what to say?

I knew Lawrence in New Orleans. He was so funny and bright. He had weird and interesting apartments in the French Quarter, and I´d visit him from time to time... Lawrence was extremely intelligent and witty. He liked strange things and he made me feel okay in a big world. I loved him in my own way.

On behalf of the Salisbury High School Class of 1978, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Stanback Family. Lawrence was a special friend to many of us and we have many fond memories of him. Praying for your strength during this time.

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for the loss of Lawrence. Although I loss touch with him after high school, I never forgot my exceptionally smart and funny classmate. He was dear to me. I only wish I had known he lived so close to me here in California. Peace be to his family and loved ones.
