Hi Terri- I'm saddened to learn of Lawre's passing. He was a humorist and lighthearted, yet brought a wealth of legal as well as historical knowledge to the Village of North Barrington's Board of Trustees. He was and will continue to be a legend of this Village, as well as of Chicago and the northwest suburbs. Peace to you and your family.

I love Lawry! I called him Uncle Lawry. He was a kind and brilliant attorney who helped me on a case and encouraged my artist pursuits.

When Lawre passed, this world lost a special treasure. His humanity, keen intellect and witty sense of humor left an indelible mark on many. He may be gone physically, but we have cherished memories that will remain with us the rest of our lives. Terri, our prayers are with you and your family as you enter this next chapter of your lives.
