Hi Terri- I'm saddened to learn of Lawre's passing. He was a humorist and lighthearted, yet brought a wealth of legal as well as historical knowledge to the Village of North Barrington's Board of Trustees. He was and will continue to be a legend of this Village, as well as of Chicago and the northwest suburbs. Peace to you and your family.

Terri, So sorry to hear of Lawre's passing. He was a dear friend and advisor of over 40 years and I will miss our chats and continuous humor. Tom Hebert

Lawre was a good friend and attorney to me. I loved this man! He was a guiding light for us all, and now a guardian star for all stars to follow forever and ever.

I love Lawry! I called him Uncle Lawry. He was a kind and brilliant attorney who helped me on a case and encouraged my artist pursuits.

TERRI...SADDENED TO LEARN OF lawres death.. I did not know him well but I got a kick out of him. I lost my husband Les Brownlee journalist. Many years ago. Priscilla

Terri, Nona, and Jordan, my heart is saddened to hear of the passing of Lawre. Although our paths have crossed infrequently over the past decade, he was a huge influence in my life and the lives of many many others. Hugs to all of you.

When Lawre passed, this world lost a special treasure. His humanity, keen intellect and witty sense of humor left an indelible mark on many. He may be gone physically, but we have cherished memories that will remain with us the rest of our lives. Terri, our prayers are with you and your family as you enter this next chapter of your lives. Godspeed. Jim & Paula Johnson
