Dear Gert and family,
Milt and I were so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was a funny man, and a wonderful Doctor. We were fortunate to have him in our midst for so long.

It was not widely known, I believe, but Larry was the orthopedist who was part of the team that did the first successful re-attachment of a severed hand at the Allentown Hospital. After he put the bones back together, I restored the arteries and veins and Andy Heffernan repaired tendons and nerves. The hand survived and was reasonably functional. The patient was happy with the result. I have always been thankful for Larry's orthopedic skills.

Dear Gert: So sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences.
