Not sure what to say?

My sympathies to Leah's family and her special friends. Leah was a sweet southern lady and I loved playing tennis with her. She was always gracious and kind. May she rest in peace.

We've lost a dear friend. Her presence always brightned a room. Talking with her was sometimes a one-way street and it may have taken some effort to get a word in edgewise. But what wisdom she shared. We were always uplifted by her presence. She loved her dogs: Lilly and Derringer and treated them with a careful balance of patience and discipline. When crusading for a purpose, she was a determined but charming advesary. The lives she touched are better for having known her.

To Frank...

What a nice person & what a sense of humor especially when she was chosen to be an MC.

What a lovely lady she was!

We will miss her deeply; her sense of humor, or creativeness and talents and her friendship.

Just to mention Leah's name makes me smile-I can feel her warmth and love. She was a welcome member of our New Horizons Band. We are fortunate to have know her. Thanks for the unique memories! She is missed. Bill & Carol Thexton

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Leah will be sadly missed by everyone at IW. David and Joyce Linsday Lot 253

Leah was one of the first people we met at Imperial Wilderness and with our home being in Charlottesville, Va we had a lot to talk about. She was a gracious and humorous lady to be with. We went on a cruise together and had a ball. She will be SO missed at IW, there will be a big hole in our family there. Al and Anne

Leah was a consummate Southern Lady, she always had a welcoming smile, a friendly greeting, one was never a stranger with Leah around. She could knock you over with her dry wit, & "Southern Charm". She was generous with her time & talent. She was never shy of demonstrating her love of God,her family,friends(2-legged & 4-legged).We Loved her & will dearly miss her.
