Leah Walsh died on October, 2008. She was 29 years of age. She was a special education teacher at the School for Language and Communication Development in Glen Cove, who has been married to William Walsh Jr. for about three years.

It is now that time of year again. The sadness that I feel, Leah's family and friends feel is still there. A senseless tragedy, so many lives changed forever.
My prayers continue to be with the Hirschel family, that they will strive to celebrate Leah's life and all the good she did and to know that they still have people who love them and think of them and pray for them.
I will continue to keep them in my daily prayers.
I love you Mattie, Howard and Josh....
