Leatrice Landry Obituary

Leatrice K. Masson Landry passed away on November 6, 2014, at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife by 1st marriage of the late Austin Masson, and by 2nd marriage, Gerard "Buddy" Landry Jr. Mother of Brad Masson and the late Glen and Lee David Masson. Step-mother of Decker Landry, Lynne Ford and Karen Bertel. Grandmother of Kristen, Karly and Stephen Masson. Great grandmother of Myles Lawson. Step grandmother of Adrienne, Brad, Alice, Kristy, Lauren, Ryan, Michael, Katherine and Renee. Step great grandmother of nine. She was a native of New Orleans, LA. Leatrice and Buddy loved to dance and travel. They enjoyed the Dragon's Men's Club and the Jefferson Orleans. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA, on Thursday, November 13, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service beginning at 12:00 PM. Brad, Mr. Buddy and Family, Sorry to hear of Ms Masson-Landry passing, May she rest in Peace, Thank you to Mrs. Masson for all my childhood memories when she lived next door to my Grandma and Grandpa for many years on Poland Street in New Orleans (Kaiser and Anna Mae Meyer).
