Leda McKenry

I am so sorry to hear about Leda's passing. I was a student in the RN to BS program and in 2005 I was given the opportunity to travel with her to Ghana. It was an incredible experience under her guidance. Dr. McKenry provided such support, I was encouraged to continue mission work. While I did not go back to Ghana, I have participated in many trips to Eastern Africa. I will always be grateful to Leda, she opened my eyes to mission work. Well, never having met Dr. McHenry, I have used her books and her wisdom once studying to be a nurse, teaching nursing, and as the dean of nursing. She lived a very important life and I send my warmest wishes to her family.
