Lee E. Peterson

I just found out about Lee's passing and wanted to extend my thoughts, sympathy, and prayers to his family and friends. Lee was an incredible person who loved life and cherished his family. He loved to travel and talk about his excursions; or talk about anything for that matter. I am glad I had the opportunity to get to know him. Lee will be missed.

I worked with Lee for a landscaping company in Seattle for several years. He was one of the hardest working and most intelligent people I've ever met. He became a close friend to both my wife and I, and we spent many dinners, movies, and even a few holidays together. While I'm overwhelmed with sadness, I'm so thankful to have had Lee as a friend. His kindness and intelligence made the world a better place. My wife and I express our deepest sympathy for his family and friends.

I met Lee on the company shuttle. I'll never forget his humorous description of the claustrophobia he felt when he moved to Boston, and how it took him "pretty close to three months" to overcome it. How can I forget his vivid descriptions of his beloved home state?

Lee was a wonderful person, always smiling and happy. I enjoyed working with him at Wyeth. My deepest sympathy and prayers to his family.

I worked with Lee on and off at Wyeth. I found out later that the woman at the front desk of my office purposely called me when he came to the window for something and I always thought he had asked specifically for me!! They knew I loved his blue eyes and his sense of humor and the thoughtful way he did his work. I will always remember Lee. My condolences to his family for their sad loss.

Lee was a gift to our community. I only knew him to speak casually as I walked past his home, admiring his stunningly beautiful garden. He was always gracious, kind and shared a witty observation or just a warm hello. It touched my heart to witness the loving care and devotion of his family and friends. You were, and continue to be, in my thoughts and prayers.

Lee was one of the first people I met when I started my job. He was a talker...we rode the shuttle together (usually the first shuttle out and the last shuttle back). I wanted to nap, he didn't care! He'd talk about ANYTHING: deisel powered jettas, history, how he was "pretty good" at riding a horse, why I don't have a gym membership. So, thanks to Lee, I have a $9/month gym membership because he signed me up under his friends and family plan. When he did anything he put his entire self...

I enjoyed working with Lee he always had a "hello" or "how are you?" when we'd pass in the hall as well - a loss for us all. My condolences to his family.

Lee was beautiful both outside and inside. He'll be truly missed.
