I knew Lee as a partner in the firm of Justice Peyton Hawes. They associated me for title work in Oconee County for several years. He was a gentleman and had a distinguished career.

Lee Rampey was a fine lawyer, gentleman and friend. Although Lee always took his responsibilities and duties with due regard and seriousness, he also had a great sense of humor. He always treated others with respect. I will always treasure the memories of the times I had the pleasure and privilege of working with him while he served as United States Attorney.
