Not sure what to say?

Professor Doss I considered you as a walking Library for the United Nations. You were one of the most knowledgeable woman I have met. I will always remember and cherish your teachings. SIP Leila

A great mentor, a living history, a true friend, and she was the champion of women and children's rights. And she gave generously. Leila was not ready to die. She kept saying that there are children charities she supports that she has to continue with for a while longer. Days before her death, she went with her carer to a Broadway show, and then was admitted to hospital days later. The world is a better place because a Leila Doss was born and lived in it. Rest well.

Leila was a great leader in the Society for International Development (SID) in the 1980s and 90s when it influenced theUN and international policies and actions. I am proud to have served with her. thank you, Leila. Signed, Peg Snyder, founding Director, UNIFEM

My dear Leila
What an inspiration you were, a breath of fresh air. Our trips to the theatre in NY were such fun, your zest for life and your kindness to all will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace dear friend.

A great lady who honored the UN with her contribution!

May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and comfort you during this most difficult time.
