Today's service was a beautiful testament to Leland's life. I found myself tearing up, not just at his passing, but at everything he accomplished in the short time that he was granted. I think that from birth, Leland never once veered from the course his life was meant to follow. I know Leland wasn't afraid. He knew where this next journey would take him because he had spent his whole life working towards the rewards of heaven. I like to think that when he next opened his eyes the first thing...

It is with great sympathy that I wish to express how much Leland will be missed. I worked with him for a short time; but, it didn't take much for him to leave an imprint on your heart. I remember the funny stories and adventures that he'd share. He was a treasure on Earth and will be a valuable angel in Heaven.
