Leo was a lot of fun. He always had me laughing. One just never knew what he was up to. Beautiful family! Miss him

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Eckman's passing. My condolences to all of the family. He was always a guy I enjoyed seeing and talking to, from the time I was a t-baller to just last summer when I saw him at the ball field watching his grand daughter play. Peace and comfort to all of you.

My deepest sympathy to the Eckman Family Leo always treated me with dignity I had the honor of working for him at Krepe Kraft

I was first introduced to Leo as an opposing coach in Blasdell Little League Baseball and have crossed paths with him in some way ever since (all good). I mowed his lawns and received little pearls of advice along the way on everything from stocks to the ponies; the latter of which is still running. Leo was the genuine article. He'll be missed.

I'll always think of Leo when I play chess, he taught me how to play one summer and I never forgot. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this hard time.
