Not sure what to say?

Originally knew Anita with both of us working at Duke University Medical Center. Leo immediately struck me as an all around great guy! His love & admiration for Anita was quite evident. As well as later in life when they had children, Leo was just as vocal about his love for Sarah & little Leo.. Then Graham cane along & just the mention of him to Leo brought immense pride & joy to his face. Now Annabella Marie has completed Sarah´s family. Leo & Anita were amazing parents as evidenced by...

I was unaware of Leo´s passing. I worked with Leo on numerous projects over our 30 years in the H&S profession. So sorry for your loss. He was a kind good hearted individual and I am proud to have known him. Claude Revels

I was blessed to know Leo briefly at Northrop Grumman. He was a star in the safety world and a very kind person. He will be missed in this world.

Single Memorial Tree

My condolences to the Hearn Family. I had the honor to work for Leo for a few month just before he retired. He was an Angel who blessed me abundantly.

I had the honor of working with and learning from Leo during my time in St Augustine at Northrop Grumman. Highest integrity, amazingly talented and passionate about his craft, his family, and everything Duke. I am so saddened to hear of his passing, and I pray for comfort for his family. May he rest in peace.

I only knew Leo briefly---in our Hospice grief group. Even in that short time, I learned what a very kind and considerate man he was. In the midst of his own grief, he bought a book for each member of the group. It was one he had found helpful, and he thought it might help us, too. It was clear that Leo loved his wife, and all his family, dearly. I hope he is with his wife now and at peace. I send my sincere condolences and prayers to his family.

I remember the first time Leo came to Northrop Grumman St. Augustine as a safety trainer. I thought that he was one of the most dynamic speakers on the topic of safety that I had ever heard. His passion for the subject was palpable. He helped shape the safety culture and made it a better place to work. In fact, Leo was the reason I got heavily involved in safety myself. Leo has been sorely missed since he left the company. All of us at work thought the world of him. He was a great guy, who...
