Not sure what to say?

Two more years have passed. I think of my friend and teammate every Veterans Day. RIP Leo Osgood

You may have left us 11 years ago, my friend, but you will never be forgotten, RIP Captain Osgood.

Dear Leo's family, I have been away from Boston for a long time, but I lived in Mission Hill and I attended JP. My brother John, who still lives there gave me a call about Leo. Leo has accomplished much with his life. A lot of times, people didn't expect us to do well, but look at him!!!! I wish to extend my sincerest condolences to the family. Wilhelmina (Wright) Daniel, Seattle, WA

I am sorry to learn about the death of the Former Director of the Office of Minority Education, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Dean Leo Osgood. I first met Leo during the last years of my matriculation, as a Ph.D. candidate at MIT. He was instrumental in convincing me to come back to MIT, as the Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Visiting Associate Professor of Chemistry during the 1997-1999 academic years.
During my tenure as a MLK Jr. Visiting Professor, I had the...

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to Leo's family. Leo was my coach at MIT from 1987-91, and I served as an assistant coach under him in 1992. Coach was a wonderful man, and a father figure. He will be forever missed - and never forgotten.

In Memory of Leo Osgood

I had the privilege of playing against Leo when he was an outstanding guard at Northeastern University. From afar, I then had the good fortune of watching Leo lead a truly exemplary life.

On October 9, Leo was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame. A worthy tribute to a great player and wonderful person.

I was very saddened to hear of Leo's passing. He was a teammate and our captain at Northeastern. We shared an apartment on Iriquois Street on Mission Hill with two other teammates during the 68-69 season. Leo was an excellent player, an even better teammate, and a very proud man. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of his family and friends.

My uncle was an incrediable man. I spent the last 7 weeks with him at the hospital and will never forget the many conversations we had . In my life he played a very important role and I will truely miss having him around. Your Nephew: Michael

My deepest sympathies to the family of Mr. Osgood. I too left Charleston for Boston and came to know him during my time at Northeastern. His humble leadership was calming and supportive. He was certainly a role model for many and his legacy will undeniably live on.
