I value the memories of working with Leo through several corporate regimes in Charlottesville, from ITT to Reed Elsevier. He was razor-smart, loyal, and fun-loving, and a devoted husband and father. Now, finally, he is at rest. We miss him, and know his family treasure his legacy.

Leo was my boss.....and my friend. He was great at both, but I always valued his friendship most. His spirit continues to smile and a bit of his happiness lives on in the hearts and memories of those who had the pleasure to call him friend.

Leo was a forever friend, once one always one. He faced the knell of his affliction bravely, accepted his fate and said "he did not want to take up space". All of us who knew him are sad with his passing. Rest easy dear buddy.

I last time I saw Leo was at one of the Benedictine High School reunions in Richmond. I saw down & had a long talk with him. He hadn't changed a bit. He was the same likable person as he always was. He will be missed by all! My condolences to all of Leo's family and friends. I will keep Leo in my prayers. Eternal rest grant to Leo 'o Lord and let perpetual life shine upon him, may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed to the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen. Ben Scafidi
