Leon was my husband's friend and mine as well. I have never seen another person in my husband's life make him laugh so hard. When they were together they were like little middle school boys. It was a connection I have never seen him have with anyone else.My daughter loved him and loved to give him hugs. As I watch my husband cry for his friend my heart breaks. Love ya Leon!

Cherise, I am so sorry for your loss of your son Leon . I feel your pain I too lost my son Jeremy at 30. Yrs old. It's been 8 yrs since he passed but I still think of him everyday. I will keep you & your family in my prayers durning this most difficult time.

I knew Leon from Istrouma Middle Magnet School in the early 1990's. We rode the same bus and sat in the same seat for 2 years. I have fond memories of laughter with Leon during these years. We also had an Art History class together at LSU in 1998. He was always a friendly person and I am saddened for his family. His family and children will be in my thoughts.

Leon my DrawBoy,
I cant even begin to process this. I will never forget you. Where do I start, oh how about the million tapes I "rented" from video- co op or ridicules Belaire parties we crashed. I want your family to know I offer my snicerest coldolences. Since 9th grade, I knew you were talented. That copy of the draw you did with "fes" hidden within has hung on my wall up till the flood. We will always be the OG orange special 69. I LOve u LB. I know your smiling ear to ear while i am trying to write this.
