of his accomplishments in the

mines. I knew Cousin Leon, as a Leader

Leon...a man of action and passion for doing what is right and honorable. My friend!

Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Leon. Louise and I have fond memories of the time we were growing up as neighbors of the Hansen's in Heber.

Leon was my cousin, and my sisters and I loved him and his brother and his sisters. He was a peacemaker, and kind to all of us. We had such fun as kids when he and his family came to visit us on the Ekker ranch. He was highly educated and handled a lot of mining affairs for my parents. We love him and will miss him. Patsy Ekker Holden

I offer condolences to the family. I knew Leon from days when I was a geologist for United Park City Mines and he worked in the Park City district for The Anaconda Company. He was a good geologist and a mentor to me. May he rest in peace.
