Leona Nix

Such a wonderful person. I got to know her when I lived on Robert Avenue. A happy, positive kind soul. Then when I took up golf I remet her much to my delight. She was a great role model. Beautiful inside and out. My condolences to her family from Mary and Ted Colwell.

I was Leona's mailman for 18 years. She was one of the nicest customers I ever delivered mail to. I enjoyed talking to her and seeing her dog Bobo whenever I had to go to the door with a package. She will be greatly missed! We need more people like Leona in this world.

Leona will be remembered as one of the most genuinely nice persons that we have ever met. Always a joy to be around both on and off the golf course. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was one special lady. She will be missed by so many, but I know my mom and Marky will have their dear golfing buddy back and things will never be the same on the golf courses in heaven. When I think of Leona I remember not only a friend but also a life's teacher. We worked together at the City of Caldwell and she taught me how to golf among other things in life. I've become a better person because she came into my life. God bless her soul and her beautiful family she left behind. Dennis and I extend our condolences to all the family.
