Not sure what to say?

Grandpa was a great soul. He was alway smiling, and never really let anything get to him, or keep him down for long. The whole time he was sick, he never complained. He was so good to grandma, and to all of us really. My only regret was that i lived so far away and didnt get to spend more time with such a wonderful human being!
I will miss you always grandpa!

How saddened I am to learn of the passing of another of my beloved class mates. My prayers will be with Leonard and his family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

God bless you all as you grieve the loss of your husband, father and grandfather.I knew Mr Alt as a child in Genoa and was always impressed with his gentle and loving manner.Though I've not seen him him in 45 years,I can see in his eyes his manner remained what I had captured in my recolection.Love to you all,and especially susie.

Sue, Tom, Dan, John and Rob: So many memories fill my mind while thinking of the Alt family. Three ten Buckeye Street was THE place to be as a kid in Genoa. Len was truly one-of-a-kind and his spirit will continue to live within all his children. My love to all of you.

Dear Sally, Rob and Family,

We are so sorry to hear of Leonard's passing. I just received the obituary late yesterday afternoon from Dave Gravel. Laurie and I moved to Hawaii shortly after I retired in April and news doesn't travel quite as fast over here. It was a pleasure working for Leonard at the Post Office in Perrysburg. Actually, it was a lot of fun back then, probably the last time I REALLY enjoyed working for the Post Office!! I'm sure both of you can relate to that! ...

Sally & Rob:

My sincerest sympathy to you on the passing of Leonard. He was truly a man of compassion, virtue, and enjoyed life to its fullest. It was a true pleasure and honor to have known him over the years. May your memories provide you with solace and comfort in the coming years.

Dear Sally & Julie,

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember what a sweet, sweet man Leonard was and his beautiful smile. He had a zest for life. I will always remember him.
Julie if you need anything, please let me know, I'm here for you.

With loving thoughts,
Kittie

Although I did not have the honor of meeting Leonard, I have heard the most wonderful, loving stories of how he enriched so many lives. His memory lives on in all of you. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.
