Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss. Dr Carrick was my childhood dentist until we moved out of state and I have many fond memories him. Very nice man..

Bette, David, Jan and Melissa your dad was a very wonderful man and friend since our earliest days in Burney. Leonard was a respected pillar of the medical care and aviation community and a life long friend.

Betty, David, Jan and Melissa: Your dad was a wonderful man, and not only did I have the pleasure of having him as my dentist for many years, my kids did as well. Our family always looked forward to our dental visits. My folks became good friends with him and he always treated us so kindly. My mom always looked forward to his Christmas card that he so proudly made. Cherish all the fond memories you had with him. Sincerely, Bill and Marilyn (Callison) Bailey

Thank You Dr. Carrick for teaching me a very important lesson of life when i was a spoiled brat of a young man. I remember you fondly, as a dentist, and a friend.

I have known Dr. Carrick for many years, first as Staff Secretary at, what was known as, Memorial Hospital. He always stopped by to chat with me. His conversations included Bette and walks with his dog. I will miss him greatly.

I am grateful to have known Doc for several years. We would talk about our Burney days, and he was a very nice man. Doc brought a lot of joy to many lives, and I will miss him. Bette, I am very sorry for your loss.

I will miss Doc Carrick and his musings of many things particularly of our Lions Club. Many times, you would wonder if he was kidding (which was often) or serious. He was a good man.

Dear Betty & family I was deeply saddened to see my favorite dentist had passed. He was such a wonderful person. He took such good care of all our family. He will be truly missed!

I only knew Doc for the past 3 years when I became a member of the Redding Breakfast Lions Club. I remember the first few weeks of my becoming a member he made a point of trying to make me feel comfortable around the other club members. He was a lot like my Dad...never met a stranger...the most friendly, generous guy around. See you on the other side Doc. Lion Dave Simpson
