Not sure what to say?

Your son, husband, father, friend was a phenomenal human being and physician. I first met Doctor Cerullo At Northwestern Hospital, he was my father´s (John L Estrada´s) neurosurgeon. The surgery was a 50-50 chance of survival. He was in his 50s. It was successful, Doctor Cerullo gave him 25 years more. Then comes 2012. I sought out doctor out by a email, he responded and he saw my sister within two days! My sister was having issues and he was the first person that came to mind. Her diagnoses...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. May his memory be a blessingto you. He was a kind and empathetic Man. (I was a former surgical patient of his in 1989, at Columbus Cabrini Hospital.)

Dear loved ones of Dr. Cerullo, I only learned today of Dr. Cerullo's passing. He and I knew each other in caring for my dear friend, Fr. Stephen Potter over his 7 year brain and leukemia journey. Where you might best know me is working with Fr. Stephen to arrange a beautiful wedding ceremony for Whitney. I will always be eternally grateful for your dad's extraordinary skill, deep faith and sincere empathy.

Dr. Cerullo was an amazing doctor. I saw him for many years for spinal disc disease and even though he was a "surgeon" he never once treated me with surgery. It was always non-surgical treatment. He saved me from Chronic Disease. He was the most down to earth doctor I have ever met, and I work in medicine, so I know a lot of doctors. When my gramma fell and had a brain bleed, I called him and he said bring her to the emergency room. He met us there, scheduled her for surgery the next day....

Dear Cerullo Family, your loss is unmeasurable, Mama Mia What Amazing Human Being. Our world lost an expert in his field so well educated, experienced, knowledgeable and generous. I was lucky when I needed help he was there, so very sad for his loved ones. Dr RIP you will surely be missed....

Dr C operated on my fathers glioblastoma in August of 1986. I was only 11 but I remember how much my parents deeply appreciated him. My mom specifically mentioned the twinkle in his eye. He put her at ease. Rest in peace Dr C.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Just saw Dr Cerullos obituary this morning! I was his patient at CINN in 1990! I suffered a slight stroke at 29 years old & lost my short-term memory & eye-hand coordination. Due to a Left-sided Occipital Arteriovenous Malformation.I was one of the first 500 people in the USA to trial the Gamma Knife! I will be forever grateful to Dr Cerullo for giving me my life back!I am 63 years old now.Gods Blessings to Dr Cerullos family! Psalm 27

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Cerullo’s family. I’m so sad to just see this.
The world has very few people that even come close to Dr. Cerullo. In 1986, my mother, Maria Chiaro age 52, was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor at a local hospital. They opened up her back, from below her neck all the way down. They closed her up and her neurosurgeon told us that she was going to be paralyzed and there would be no way that her tumor could ever be removed. Thank God, a family friend...
