Not sure what to say?

Dear Pat,

It has been many years since Maureen and I last saw you and Leonard. We had some good times in Coronado, CA before we shipped out to Vietnam. I was looking through web sites trying to find guys from Nam and decided to put Leonard's name in the computer and came up with his obituary. I know this is late but felt like I had to write. Maureen and I have talked often of you two. I am so sad to finally reach out to some of the guys and find Leonard has passed. This has to be you...

Sending condolences to the family of Leonard, my former grammar schoolmate. He was a wonderful young man and a gentleman. Hadn't seen him since school days, but he was a fond memory of the past. I was very sorry to hear of his passing as this late date. Keeping him and his family in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Grace Fernandez (Canzona)
