Not sure what to say?

September 12, 2017

Dear Pat,

It has been many years since Maureen and I last saw you and Leonard. We had some good times in Coronado, CA before we shipped out to Vietnam. I was looking through web sites trying to find guys from Nam and decided to put Leonard's name in the computer and came up with his obituary. I know this is late but felt like I had to write. Maureen and I have talked often of you two. I am so sad to finally reach out to some of the guys and find Leonard has passed. This has to be you because there could only be one Leonard with a wife named Pat who served in the Navy Sea Bees in Nam.

Our sincere and heart felt condolences,
Maureen and David Fisher

Sending condolences to the family of Leonard, my former grammar schoolmate. He was a wonderful young man and a gentleman. Hadn't seen him since school days, but he was a fond memory of the past. I was very sorry to hear of his passing as this late date. Keeping him and his family in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Grace Fernandez (Canzona)

I hadn't seen Babe for over 45 years but remember him like it was yesterday, as you know, he left a lasting impression on everyone. Dear Pat, Jenell, Jorie and John,
Bob and I were devastated when we heard that babe lost his valiant battle with Mesothelioma after nearly 3 years. He lived his life to the fullest and loved his family, a legacy any man would be proud of. May memories of Babe and the love of your family and friends sustain you through this very difficult time. We are sorry that we are not there to put our arms around you and give you all a big hug. We love you.

John and family,

I am very sorry for your loss. Len was a great person to be around. He wasn't just Mr. Genardo or Babe… he was a great friend of mine and a big part of our circle of friends. We may have lost a member of our tribe but the memories will last forever. Thank you, Len.

I will be thinking of you each time I charter the seas my friend. This one is for you!

~Cheers
