I knew him as Mr Spock on Star Trek.

When the cast finally was reassembled for "Star Trek - The Motion Picture," in 1979, the film was a huge hit and five sequels followed. Nimoy appeared in all of them and directed two. Oh Mr. ("I Am Not Spock") Nimoy....oh yes you are and I´m late with my condolences but so heartfelt nonetheless. What an elegant actor and director! One of my very favorite movies is Star Trek IV The Voyage Home, or the Greenpeace movie as so many like to call it. What a delightful premise for the story and the whole running theme of "colorful metaphors" was delicious. "Are you sure it´s not the time for a colorful metaphor?"
