Leonard P. Parracino, 71, of Manchester, beloved husband of Sue (Terry) Parracino, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and loving companion, Kaya, on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014.

Through the Sportsman Club, he organized fundraising events for the Wounded Warriors, Andover Ambulance, and the Andover Food Pantry.

Len leaves behind the best things in life and his true joy, his family. In addition to his loving wife, Sue, Len is survived by his sons, Lenny and friend, Brandi, of California and Dean, and his wife, Lynette, of Tolland; his daughter, Leah Parracino of East Hartford; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition, he leaves behind his stepchildren, Christopher Terry, and his wife, Diane, Thomas Terry, and his wife, Jill, Jennifer Bandy, and her husband, Chris; and seven special grandchildren who all adored him.

Len's family wishes to thank Dr. Danny Korkmaz, Dr. Ivelisse Viruet, and the staff of Visiting Nurse Association Hospice, especially nurses Sharon and Dorothy.

Way back in our 'live band' day's, myself and other friends often stopped in at Lenny's music store "Caspar Music" on Hartford Rd. Manchester. He always gave us great deals and I remember his music trio, 'VOLUME 3' from the early/mid 70's as another friend of mine was the keyboardist. My condolences to his family. Just remember, He is not gone...just away...
