Not sure what to say?

I met you once when you were very young, but I remember your mother's joy in you. Some day may your family's mourning be complete.

My sympathies and condolences to Mom Janet and Leonard's family and Eric. It was shocking to learn of his way too early passing.in J Weekly. I was at Leonard's Bar Mitzvah and still see the 13 year old in my mind's eye. It wa inspiring and humbling to read about the wonderful man he was and the life he lived . May he rest in peace.

I"m heading to SF today for Leonard's Memorial. What a wonderful, gentle man. I worked alongside of and next door to Leonard for many years at Hoover and can never honestly remember a time where he was not patient, kind, and supportive of everyone, faculty and students alike. My condolences to his family especially as we all remember and celebrate the life of a very good man and human being.

He was a wonderful teacher who cared deeply about his students and his colleagues at Hoover Middle School. I had the honor and privilege to serve as principal at Hoover for seven years, and Leonard was always there for me...providing sage advice and guidance as we struggled through difficult budgetary times. He was a problem solver and team player...and he will be missed. Jeannie Pon, Assistant Superintendent, Middle Schools, SFUSD

When I left UCSC in 1984, I left behind very dear friends, including Leonard. He swept Laura off her feet and made us, her friends, all feel so incredible welcome in his gentle, warm world. They say the best always go first. In this instance, it really is true. Sleep softly, Leonard, we will always remember you. Love, Ruby

In loving memory of my beloved brother-in-law, Leonard. We miss you every day.

I worked with Leonard for 17 years..he was a kind and inspiring man and he sure loved his students. He will be missed! I know he is now out of pain and continue to pray for him, but especially for you his family..I know the pain of loosing a loved one and want you to know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
