Taken right after a minor stroke. Still happy as can be!
I always enjoyed his sea stories of when he was in the Navy. He was definitely and inspiration to me and guiding me in my career. Never a dull moment hanging out with him! Miss you already Gramps!

Many fond memories of Uncle Leonard and Aunt Kitty growing up in the DC area. Visiting with them and all the Schempp cousins on Christmas evenings especially comes to mind. Thankful for having been able to visit with Uncle Leonard in the not too distant past while on a visit here with Leo in Big Bear, California.
May he rest in peace. Condolences to all my Schempp cousins-you are in our thoughts and prayers.
