Len always had a great smile, a twinkle in his eyes and enjoyed telling stories. He was a wonderful, thoughtful gentleman at all times. What a privilege to have known him. Fair winds and following seas my friend. You are missed by all who knew you.

We got together after almost 50 yrs of not seeing each other. Seemed liked no time had passed at all. Lenny was still the same funny and personable friend as in school.
We saw each other seldom but will definitely miss the lunches in San Marcos, TX with Estelle and Len. Thanks for doing the 50th reunion.

The mold is broken and there is no one to replace him. It has been a great pleasure and an honor to call him friend. Lenny was a mensch in the truest sense of the word.

Lenny was one of our favorite people here at Metedeconk. He certainly loved his family and his country. Our lives are very blessed for having known him as well as Estelle. Two very remarkable people.

OUR THANKS TO ESTELLE AND LENNY, BOTH, FOR ALL THE EFFORT PUT TOWARDS LOYOLA DENTAL SCHOOL. WE HAVE SHARED MANY POLITICAL STATEMENTS AND A FEW DREAMS OF REVOLUTIONIZING THE WORLD. LENNY WORKED VERY HARD AT THESE THINGS.

We were shocked and devastated when we received Estelle's email about Lenny's sudden passing.

Lenny was the hub of the Loyola Dental School Class of 1959. He knew all the guys (that's right, there were no women in the class back then), was interested in all of us, knew about our successes, failures, joys and sorrows. He kept us together as a class through his regular emails.

We will sorely miss him.

I remember when we got here from the Ukraine, how for the first time, Leonard and his family came to our Manhattan hotel in 1988 and gave us a tour everywhere. (Including the introduction of my first burger somewhere in NJ Diner). I did not understand a word of english, but will never forget that special day.
With our deepest sympathy to All.

Deepest sympathy upon the death of beloved Dr. Leonard Weiss. He was always very supportive of all the work Estelle has done over many decades, on behalf of the CUNYH/class 1960. Joan Murray

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
