I never had the pleasure of meeting Len in person but we exchanged some great old radio stories via e-mail. Len was about 10 years ahead of me in terms of working in the Boston radio market, so he truly witnessed much of radio's golden age. It saddens me that such a fine talent has passed and I hope his legacy of Media Gang get-togethers will go on as long as there are close-knit relationships among Boston TV and radio folks.

Len,
If it were not for your dedication and good old fashioned work ethic, the Media Gang would not have made the impact that it did.
God Bless you and your family -- now and in the years ahead.

Len did on-camera narration for an industrial film I produced in the mid-1980's and I still fondly remember working with him. He was a true professional and a kind gentleman.

Very sorry to hear of Len's passing. He did so much over the years by creating and operating the Media Gang luncheons which brought so many people together that we otherwise may never have seen again. May he rest in peace. Paul Power, Nahant

I was very sorry to hear of Len's passing. He was a great guy in every respect. He helped me in many ways, especially in my trying to encourage 528 graduates to attend our 50th English High School reunion in 2000. I could not have done it without his guidance. He is in my prayers.

To the Zola Family:
Please accept my deep and sincere condolences on Len's passing. I remember listening to him on various Boston area radio stations, and met him at WSRO-AM in Marlborough, MA when he did a program there on Sunday mornings. We became good friends over the years and used to chat about the state of broadcasting and how it has changed over the years. His presence will be sorely missed. Again, my sincere condolences to all on his passing.
